Off to the Wilds

Im not too sure how this is going to look on the page as the text whilst typing seems to be set for the visually imapired. Oh well carry on..

The weekend has been interesting, got next to nothing that I wanted done as per usual, at the moment Im looking at trying to get my place fixed up, new carpets, a coat of paint, replace a few tiles, replace some AC sheeting and replace a backdoor. All sounds like fun I bet and if you pay me a mear 5 dollars per hour I will let you do it all for me :) (Okay worth a shot at least).

Well I am very much looking forward to the weekend, I have a date with an incredible young lady that every time we have chatted has left me with a glow, I hope our offline chemistry is as strong as it is online :)

An Entry

No idea how I am going to start this thing and less Idea as to what I am going to write.. I guess I should explain the title of my site here "Suburban Monk", actually I don't think I can explain or more pointedly not sure its wise too. Put simply I live in the Burbs and live like a monk.

Monks in Medieval times through to the age of the printing press were the recorders of knowledge and served mostly as scribes throughout Europe, I guess this is my attempt at reviving the tradition.

For those that are wondering the answer to the supposed imagery of a monk in the robes and shaved pate the answer is no.. Nor am I religious by any stretch of the imagination, spiritual yes. I do live a life of poverty though it is not by choice (nor is the chastity).

I cant begin to describe my life at the moment but a frog in a blender is as about as accurate as I can get right now. Hopefully one day I will be able to be more articulate in describing the mess I have thrown myself in, but I will give life one thing right now.. At least its not boring :)

Another Update soon
